About the university

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), founded in 1992, is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban locale of Preston, North West England, with branch campuses in Burnley, Moor Row, and Pyla. As a large institution, with an enrolment range of 15,000-19,999 students, UCLan offers coeducational programs leading to a variety of degrees from pre-bachelor's to doctorates across different areas of study. Admissions are selective and based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply. To support students, UCLan provides several facilities and services, such as a library, housing, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses, distance learning opportunities, and administrative services.
